Job Description:
Exciting Opportunity for a Radiation Oncologist in
Northwest Ohio Join a respected healthcare system in Northwest Ohio as a
Radiation Oncologist in an established Comprehensive Cancer Care
program. This is a unique opportunity to work in a physician-led,
outpatient setting with a flexible PRN schedule tailored to your
preferences. Our program is part of a prestigious care network,
offering state-of-the-art technology and a collaborative
environment where your expertise will be valued and supported. If
you are seeking a role that allows you to maintain work-life
balance while making a significant impact in patient care, this
opportunity is one you won't want to miss. Opportunity Highlights Practice Setting and Clinical Scope This position involves providing radiation oncology services
exclusively in an outpatient setting. You will manage a patient
load of approximately 20-30 patients per day. The practice is
supported by a robust team including therapy, physics, and
dosimetry staff, ensuring you have the resources needed to deliver
exceptional care. The use of cutting-edge equipment like TrueBeam
linear accelerators and a Siemens CT Simulator enhances treatment
precision and patient outcomes. Schedule and Assignment Details The role offers a highly flexible schedule, allowing you to
choose up to two days per week based on your availability.
Additionally, you'll cover 6 weeks of physician vacations
throughout the year, with the specific schedule to be determined
during the interview process. This flexibility supports a balanced
professional and personal life, making it an ideal position for
those looking to tailor their work commitments. Support and Work Environment Work within a single-site location that fosters a physician-led
culture with a strong emphasis on autonomy. You will collaborate
closely with a well-supported team of professionals dedicated to
providing top-tier patient care. The environment encourages
professional growth and continuous learning, backed by advanced EMR
systems like ARIA and Eclipse for radiation oncology, and Cerner
for the cancer center and hospital. Qualifications Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in
Radiation Oncology and possess (or be willing to obtain) an Ohio
medical license. Experience in outpatient radiation oncology is
preferred, and candidates must secure a DEA license prior to the
start date. This position requires flexibility for a PRN schedule
and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care. Closing If you are a dedicated Radiation Oncologist seeking a role that
offers professional autonomy, cutting-edge technology, and a
supportive team environment in a respected healthcare system, we
invite you to explore this opportunity further. This position not
only promises professional fulfillment but also the chance to make
a meaningful impact on patient care in the community. We look
forward to discussing how you can contribute to our established
program and grow with our team.
