Location: Toledo Hospital Department: Facilities Engineering Weekly Hours: 40 Status: Full time Shift: Days (United States of America) Job Summary: As a Maintenance Mechanic, you create safe and welcoming environments for our patients, visitors and employees. You will perform general maintenance and repairs of the hospital’s facilities and mechanical, plumbing, electrical and pneumatic equipment. In this role, you will monitor and inspect work to ensure code and regulation compliance. On Call hours may be on an as needed basis. REQUIRE MENTS High School diploma or equivalent or t rade school diploma or degree from technical school Must have working knowledge of electricity, fire safety codes, refrigeration, and air conditioning codes 1-2 years previous experience in similar positions in an institutional setting PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS Licensed/Certified in one or more trades or disciplines ProMedica is a mission-driven, not-for-profit health care organization headquartered in Toledo, Ohio.
