Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for designing and developing sophisticated
testing software; developing test software to support MathWorks
Vehicle Network Toolbox; using cutting edge technology to solve
challenging hardware and software problems; using industry standard
vehicle network protocols including CAN, CAN FD, J1939, and XCP and
file formats including MDF and CDF; participating in all stages of
product development, including software design and usability;
designing, developing, and maintaining hardware testing
infrastructures and tools; participating in design and code
reviews; writing test strategies and procedures; designing test
infrastructures; creating and executing automated test suites;
executing non-functional testing -- performance, memory and
security testing; and identifying and reporting product defects
using MathWorks bug tracking system, hardware lab configuration,
testing and maintenance. Education and Experience: Masters degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering or Computer Science and no experience. OR Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering or Computer Science and five (5) years of experience in
job offered or five (5) years of experience designing, developing,
or testing of automotive or powertrain systems. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise in object-oriented programming in MATLAB
and C/C++. Demonstrated expertise writing and debugging automated test
plans and tests cases for automotive systems, powertrain systems or
toolboxes for simulating automotive or powertrain systems. Demonstrated expertise in Model-Based system design and control
of vehicle dynamics using MATLAB and Simulink to model and test
automotive systems. Demonstrated expertise in design or testing of automotive
